Let us explain to you how a BidMuseum auction works: 1) The starting price for each item is set at $0.01 and increases with increments of $0.01, $0.03, $0.05, $0.07 (depending on the auction you are bidding on).
2) Placing a bid costs a fixed price of $0.50, and bids are available in BidPacks of 30, 60, 100, 250, 500, and 1000 bids.
3) There is a timer displayed on each auction which shows the time left for the auction to end.
4) Whenever a user places a bid, the timer increases by a period of 10, 13, 15, or 20 seconds depending on the auction you are bidding at. For example - If a bid is placed when only 5 seconds are left for the auction to end, the timer will increase by 20 seconds if it is a 20 second auction. So, the auction will end in 25 seconds now, unless a new bid is placed.
5) If a user places a bid and there are no bids placed after him till the end of the timer, the auction will end and the last bidder becomes the winner of the auction.
6) He can then accept to pay for the won item. Once accepted, he should pay for the item within 7 days of winning it to ensure a smooth delivery.
